Ajman Digital Government continuously seeks to develop the integrated priority services to enhance customer experience. This requires a new thinking among employees that puts the customer's interest above all considerations and high coordination among government agencies to eliminate the double work that the customer is doing or is forced to do. Here came the idea of a "living laboratory". Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. On 20 February 2018, the digital government launched the first live lab in the Emirate of Ajman to improve government services

The Ajman living lab, the first laboratory of its kind in the Middle East, was inspired from the Ajman Digital Government plan. To achieve the customers satisfying, by using a unique experiences and new tools.

Before establishing Ajman living lab, Ajman Digital Government was seeking out the best living laboratories in the world. In order to, take advantage of leading government experiences and strategic partnerships, leading to the establishment of an exceptional model in the region. As well as, it is the first living lab in the Middle East.

On 24 of February 2018 H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council, had launched Ajman living lab.

His Highness instructed the importance of in achieving the vision of Ajman 2021 and helps in redesigning and developing government services in an innovative way.

And effective by confining new ideas and developing them and identify those responsible for their implementation in an environment based on creativity and innovation involving partners and the public and private sectors. The laboratory aims mainly to involve the public in this process, Streamlining and testing their effectiveness.
